Corn flakes
Cornflakes are made from cut corn that is flaked afterwards. Corn porridge is very good for health, recommended for small children, the elderly, as well as weight watchers (as a low-calorie diet). Corn kernels are rich in vitamins, amino acids, iron and silica and contain fibers that help the body to get rid of toxins. Corn porridge is creamy and on the sweet side. To prepare a delicious porridge, pour the flakes into boiling milk or water with 1 part of flakes and 3 parts of water or milk. Boil for 3 minutes and then let it simmer under the lid for 2 minutes. Add salt, jam, banana, nuts, raisins or butter if necessary.
